information about this jewellery selection

Fall 2012 to Winter 2013 calls for the return of opulence where jewellery is concerned. Spring and Summer saw the beginnings of this trend with the heavy layering of silver chains around the neck and single wide cuff bangles on an arm. Fall 2012 to Winter 2013 goes a step further, layering chunky pieces together for a totally lavish result.

This season, jewellery has gone chunky on all fronts. By all means wear your entire collection of bangles on one arm but leave out the rest of the jewellery, save the earrings. Or you could leave off the earrings and wear not one, but two or more chunky necklaces.

Choose one or two types of accessories and leave off the rest. Like an absolutely stunning pair of chandelier earrings with an armful of bangles. Or an armful of bangles and a gorgeous hair piece. Or several beaded necklaces and a cocktail ring.

The rest of your outfit should not compete with your jewellery. Such heavily adorned looks go beautifully with minimalist clothing, or simple outfit that are very well cut.

One point to note: chunky jewellery looks best on big or tall women who can carry them off. Avoid them if you are petite as you would look as if the jewels are wearing you, not you wearing them.

If you can carry chunky jewels, you will love our range at Avalaya store.

Being one of the first things used by our ancestors for self-adornment, bead jewellery enjoys great popularity up to the present. But it is worth mentioning, that, historically, beads served as the symbol of wealth and flourishing and were also worn for the sake of self-protection and other superstitious reasons.

Probably, having seen how gorgeous beads are, people began to decorate their hair, hats, sleeves of their clothes with beads. Besides, beads were used as the currency of the ancient times. Thus, beads made of the Egyptian china indicate contacts with Egypt.

Today, any famous jewellery house aspires to having beads and necklaces in any of its collections. In a few days, their stunning shine is likely to catch the eye of the A-listers in pursuit of something glamorous and special for another red-carpet appearance. No wonder, chosen with taste, beads and necklaces can create miracles. At Avalaya we have a big collection of Bead Jewellery:
