The "shell" of the turtle-shaped pin swathe with olive enamel and accented with channel-set, round clear crystals on the edge. Smaller round clear crystals encrust the "head", "legs" and "tail" of the pin from pavé settings. For realism, round emerald green crystals fill bezel settings to create its "eyes".

The brooch crafted in gold tone and measures about 42mm x 30mm, fastens with a flag pin and revolver.
