Minimalism returns in Fall/Winter 2012 and 2013. Clothes are simple and structured. There is a difference this time. Minimalist clothing is accessorized with stunning jewellery.

It makes sense. Simple clothing remarkable because of their cut and fabric are given and added boost by the addition of a single stunning Crystal necklace that really stands out. It's not that brooches are new. This winter though, pins and charm brooches have become a punctuation point.

There is nothing shy about the size of the new brooches. Bigger is definitely better.

This arrangement, of course, is for the adventurous. But a woman with a special knack -- and the right brooches -- could wear a cluster of them placed strategically around the collarbone area of a jacket or a dress.
