It's not that brooches are new. This winter though, pins and charm brooches have become a punctuation point.

There is nothing shy about the size of the new brooches. Bigger is definitely better.

This arrangement, of course, is for the adventurous. But a woman with a special knack -- and the right brooches -- could wear a cluster of them placed strategically around the collarbone area of a jacket or a dress.

Multiple brooches though should have some vague relationship, like flower shapes. (Flowers are big right now in costume jewellery.)

A word of advice: Keep other accessories minimal.

Eliminate the necklace or wear only a simple one, and earrings should not be too dominant.

Necklaces lengths is diverse and run the gamut from choker length to ultra long in 2008-2009 fashion jewellery trends. The multi-layered look is so popular, featuring several strands of diverse beads held together by a bold clasp. Beads are run the range from sparkling faceted crystals, earthy semiprecious stone beads, to natural wooden beads in unusual shapes. Expect to to find beads with interesting textures reminiscent of the primitive, tribal art at our jewellery store:

Antique gold offers the luxurious warmth of gold with a vintage twist. This finish has a slightly muted tone compared to bright gold, giving it an understated elegance that feels both classic and sophisticated. The aged effect often includes subtle textures or patinas that add depth and character to the jewellery.

Perfect for formal occasions or adding a touch of glamour to casual looks, antique gold pairs beautifully with rich colours like burgundy, navy, or emerald green. It’s an excellent choice for those who love timeless designs with a hint of old-world charm.
