This brooch has it's historic roots in the ancients times of more than 2,000 years old. The skilled craftsmen of that time used to make similar brooches near the territory of modern South Africa. From generation to generation the art of jewellery making has been passed right from its very origins to the present times.
This ethnic brooch symbolizes the trinity of life: mid body and soul.
This brooch features Black, White and Ivory coloured Onyx stones in the middle of each circle which are made of solid stainless steel.
The brooch measures about 5.8cm by 4.8cm,
diameter of the black stone is 1.5 cm and it's base diameter is around 3cm,
diameter of the white stone is 1.5 cm and it's base diameter is around 3.6cm,
diameter of the ivory stone is 1.2 cm and it's base diameter is around 2.4 cm.
It secures with a flag pin and revolver fastening.
Due to the handmade nature of this piece, some variations in shape and small details are to be expected.
