This brooch has it's historic roots in the ancients times of more than 2,000 years old. The skilled craftsmen of that time used to make similar brooches near the territory of modern South Africa. From generation to generation the art of jewellery making has been passed right from its very origins to the present times.
This square shaped brooch crafted from finest grade brass and copper metal and treated with temperature for special effect.
It measures about 4.8cm x 4.8cm and secures with a flag pin and revolver fastening.
Due to the handmade nature of this piece, variations in colour may occur.
These products are handcrafted by burnishing and heat-treating the metals to get the earthy colours, which make it so unique. We recommend that you polish it with a soft cloth and treat it with care and it will last forever.
